Oh hi, didn't see you there. My name's Joe, but you can call me ChessPiece21, ChessPiece, or Chess (or even Joe, if you want). I use they/them pronouns, and love movies, books, music, and gaming. I'm currently an undergraduate student at the University of Washington (better known as UW, pronounced "you-dub"), where I'm majoring in English literature and communication studies with the desire to become a teacher. Feel free to talk with me if anything there interests you.
How I Found the Reception Family Wikis
A Reddit thread on r/moviescirclejerk, one of my favorite subreddits of all time, linked this specific wiki, the Awful Movies Wiki, back in late 2020. I had experiences on FANDOM before, but deleted my account because of inactivity, so I decided to join this wiki community. I branched out to a few others and am now on their Discord too!!!

The Hunger Games series (Suzanne Collins) - so boring, it takes forever to get to the good stuff and I don't understand why people like it in the first place
Ready Player One (Ernest Cline) - used to LOVE it, now it feels really dated and mediocre, especially with the film.
Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy -
Hot Fuzz, Shaun of the Dead, The World's End
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Death Becomes Her
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure
Princess Mononoke - Miyazaki's best movie, don't @ me

Ready Player One
The Darkest Minds
Jack & Jill
The Wrong Missy
Like a Boss
The Star Wars series - the prequels are masterpieces.
MCU movies - a real mixed bag.
DCEU movies -
Shazam is great, the rest should learn from the MCU.

Super Mario Bros. - surprisingly I DON'T hate it!
Alice in Chains
They Might Be Giants
Marina and the Diamonds
Ninja Sex Party
Submarine Man - is he even a rapper?
Most pop and Kpop music
Parks & Rec - better than The Office, again don't @ me
