It was a time in 2016 when Finding Dory was around the corner, but Sausage Party was... accidentally showed up in the trailers in California and this film was no different...

Before the Sausage Party film was released on August 12, 2016, there were trailers that spawned a controversy.

Controversy

In the spring or the summer of 2016, the time when Finding Dory and some films were released, the Sausage Party trailer that contained sexual content, and gory content in a CGI animated one, was accidentally showed up around the theatres during the release of Finding Dory and it was met with widespread negative reactions from the younger audiences, which it terrifies a lot of younger audiences because of this, and parents. and parents fearing that the kids would watch the animated film that would confuse it's a family-friendly film, which it turns out it's actually an R-rated CGI animated film.
