Samurai Cop 2: Deadly Vengeance is a 2015 action thriller film produced by CineRidge Entertainment and is a sequel to the 1991 film Samurai Cop. The film stars Mathew Karedas, Mark Frazer, Tommy Wiseau, Bai Ling and Kayden Kross, written by Rich Mallery, T. L. Young and Gregory Hatanaka, and directed by Gregory Hatanaka.

The film was crowdfunded through Kickstarter with a goal of $50,000 and was able to successfully raise $62,452.[1]

25 years after the original, Joe Marshall and Frank Washington team up once again to investigate the murder of Joe's wife.

Why It Intentionally Sucks

  1. Terrible story.
  2. Horrible acting.
  3. Laughable attempts at comedy.
  4. Poorly-done CGI and green screen.
  5. Low quality camera work.
  6. There are some things that make no sense, such as the random scene jumping but just the story itself.
  7. There is a reuse of sets as different locations which causes a bit of confusion.
  8. Some bad fight scene choreography, except for one or two exceptions.
  9. The first Samurai Cop was a bad film with the intention of being a good movie, but the sequel is an intentionally bad film which doesn't have the same feeling as the first.
  10. Actress Janis Farley from the first film doesn't return as Jennifer, as she is replaced by porn star Kayden Kross to play her role.

The Only Redeeming Quality

  1. Some self-aware humor that's okay. This movie was intentionally meant to be bad.

  • Actors Seymour Cassel, Eddie Deezen, Richard Harrison, George Lazenby, Stuart Whitman, and Robert Z'Dar were originally announced to be appearing, however none of them appeared in the final film. Z'Dar however had died before the film was released.
  • Tommy Wiseau, infamous for producing and starring in the "so bad it's good" film The Room, is one of the actors in this movie, which is a sequel to a movie that shares the same notoriety as The Room.
