Death of Christopher Reeve

Christopher Reeve (September 25, 1952 – October 10, 2004) was an American actor who was well known to portray Clark Kent/Superman in all four original Superman movies from 1978 until 1987.
On May 27, 1995, Reeve was left quadriplegic after being thrown from a horse during an equestrian competition in Culpeper, Virginia.
After his accident, he continued to act in films and TV series including Smallville. On October 10, 2004, he died in Mount Kisco, New York following an infection.
