Funny how this didn't get nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award, Diary Of A Wimpy Kid: The Long Haul might be one of the worst, most unfunny installment in the Diary Of A Wimpy Kid franchise. Take the new cast for example. They didn't really try too hard to look like the original characters from the last 3 films. What's also left is poorly executed humor, mediocre performances (including the new cast) and a pile of forgettable development. It even went back to the same director, same juvenile humor (although unfunny), same producer, same writing, same editor, but not the same cast. It makes me disappointed how this movie didn't get nominated for a Golden Raspberry Award, and how the 1st Diary Of A Wimpy Kid didn't get nominated for an Academy Award. R.I.P Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 2010-2017 :(

I dunno how. Maybe the founders cringed so hard that they didn't want to nominate this for any Razzies.

I think the Razzies pick more notoriously bad movies, like Holmes and Watson and Death of a Nation. (movies that have more negative word-of-mouth tend to be more likely to earn Razzies)

Lower-end movies that didn't get much notation, like Sound of Thunder and Jem, don't get any Razzie nominations.

It's pretty awful and obviously inferior to the other films, but it actually seems kind of more closer to the books. Which is not a good thing.
