Extraction is a 2015 action-thriller film directed by Steven C. Miller, starring Kellan Lutz, Bruce Willis, and Gina Carano. Noteworthy is the fact that both Lutz and Willis previously starred in The Expendables movies.

The film received a 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and is widely considered to be one of Bruce Willis’ worst movies ever, even more so than A Good Day to Die Hard.

Plot

Former CIA agent Leonard Turner (Willis) is kidnapped by a group of terrorists. His son, Harry (Lutz), who is constantly denied from being a field agent, launches his own unsanctioned rescue mission. Along the way, he is joined by Victoria (Carano), a field agent who also happens to b his ex-girlfriend.

Why it Sucks

  1. Bad acting that is comparable to TV commercials, even from people such as Willis.
  2. Willis’ character only appears for a few minutes, in the beginning and end of the movie.
  3. Annoyingly terrible soundtrack.
  4. Unbelievably generic, formulaic, and cliché storyline.
  5. Piss-poor and unconvincing chemistry between Harry and Victoria.
  6. Cheesy dialogue. For instance, Leonard tells a villain "Don't you ever threaten my family".
  7. Weightless action scenes that are badly staged and too obviously choreographed, lacking any sort of credibility.
